"Who am I ?"
   I am Ian Showell, originally from the United Kingdom, now a resident in North Western New Jersey since 2002, I am married to Karen my American wife, who is a great inspiration to me.

   My cooking experience started from an early age, drawing from my mixed English and Scottish heritage. I always had a passion for food, which has been enhanced over the years with extensive European travel.

   I have a wide knowledge and love for traditional recipes from all over Europe and the British Isles.

   My idea for Crème Anglaise is to create a concept which will  give something unique to my clients. I can offer delicious European food in the comfort of your own home, whether it be a luncheon, dinner, cocktail party , or my specialty "British afternoon tea".

   To do this with the greatest possible professional integrity, I joined the prestigious United States Personal Chef Association, which has over 5,500  members across the country.The support, training and information I receive, helps me to insure I give my best to each client.

   My services are fully insured through the USPCA.
